Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

• Account & identity data — your name, email address, and profile image, provided when you create an account or sign in.
• Authentication data — we use Clerk as our authentication provider. When you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us through Clerk so we can create and secure your account.
• Content you create — sites, pages, proposals, messages, and files you produce in the platform.
• Operational data — logs, device/browser information, and usage events used to keep the service secure and reliable.

If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address, and profile picture) via Clerk. We use this data solely to authenticate you, create your account, and personalize your experience. We do not use Google sign-in data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Metrix requests only the basic sign-in scopes (email and profile). We do not request access to your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, or other Google APIs for the purpose of signing in. You can revoke Metrix’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

• To provide, maintain, and secure your account and the platform.
• To operate features you use — publishing sites, sending proposals and messages, and processing payments.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.

We share data only with service providers that help us run Metrix, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Clerk — authentication and session management.
• Neon — database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing (when you make or receive payments).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at hello@metrix.build. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us.
• Revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page at any time.
• Manage account settings from within the platform.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, scoped access, and tenant isolation — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
